    Glove size help

    My DD was 9 when she started FP and finding a 12" that she said wasn't too big was like pulling teeth. She tried on dozens of gloves. Every one spread her fingers too much. I couldn't imagine finding anything in bigger than a 11 1/2" for a 6yo.

    I don't know how it is elsewhere, but our fall ball is a really laid back atmosphere so DD really enjoys it.

    Whats worse with our Dick's store is that they never mark down anything. I would have bought that Rawlings glove two years ago if they did.

    Dy DD is 4' 7" and weighs 80 lbs, so she's small for her age. The Vinci fits great.

    Our local Dick's has probably 60 FP gloves and all but 5 are cheap Mizuno gloves. They have a couple okay Wilson gloves and 1 pretty nice Rawlings glove. Been that way since they opened it 4 years ago. They don't rotate stock in and out of that store at all. The local places are a mess.

    My DD is tiny. Finding a bag she is comfortable with seems to be the issue with her.

    I got DD's in such great shape that she's now used it in two games (pitching). Looks like a Million bucks. Thanks Drakemir. What a fantastic glove.

    Just keep working at it. I went at the glove for about three weeks every night and it's super soft now. Still not as soft as DD's old glove so she complains, but she used the glove in practice yesterday with no problems. It went from too stiff to perfect almost overnight for me.

    When I watch pro games and guys have gloves I know are equally stiff, and I see the glove flopping around, I wonder how many balls did it take to get that glove in that shape?!?! LOL

    My DD got hers Saturday (thanks Drakemir) and I've been beating and twisting like a nut. I've given it pure hell, and so far the best I've done has resulted in her being able to close it thumb to pointer finger. I've never broken in a glove this stiff so it's definitely a learning experience.

    Hey I got a LS Xeno elsewhere for $150 so all weird vibe aside, I was able to get what I wanted for the price I was hoping. Whatever was said in this thread, I did see some other helpful stuff in other threads that almost fit my scenario. It didn't happen for me but my DD is going to be stoked...

    DD has a smaller Demarini but used a LS and liked it too. I saw another thread like this and I figured I would give it a shot. I don't really want to spend more than $150. If anyone has anything I'd greatly appreciate the help.

    Light as in weight. High end as in price. I consider gloves over $200 high end. I don't know if that's a thing though.
