    Trouble with the change-up!

    Flip change is very difficult to throw consistently especially for girls with small hands. My DD tucks her index and middle fingers and throws just like a fast ball. It leaves her hand with almost no spin and she can control it very well.

    I guess my question is whether the batter gets a specific amount of time between pitches or is it just a "reasonable" amount determined by the umpire. Some teams can be very slow and I don't like my pitchers waiting.

    Seriously?? Can't adjust an arm or leg? I can't believe this is even being discussed. There is an OBVIOUS inappropriate line. But zero touching is simply ridiculous. You all must be the worlds best communicators to adjust everything with words and demos only.

    You cannot walk the batter preceding an automatic out. The lead off batter would be up with 2 outs still.

    Maybe...But I remember a few very good pitchers in this years CWS that cruised in the high 50's. And one fine pitcher threw 80% screwballs and won the whole thing.

    How about an illegal bat. It's still a bat so it shouldn't matter. Wouldn't be much of a game without rules enforcement. Pretty funny that you don't like a crow-hop but leaping is okay. The best games so far have been with LEGAL pitchers and good hitting teams. No excuses for the coaches...

    Why do a lot of rules exist? How about dropped 3rd strike? Talk about arbitrary. Don't like the rules then change em. Until then enforce them.
