    1st base glove

    Is it illegal to use a 1st basemen's glove for any other position besides 1st? Reason I ask is seen a player move from 1st to short without switching her mitt. Thought you couldn't do that.

    This is correct. Last weekend had a pop up between home and 3rd. While the balls in the air home ump calls out "IFF if ball is fair" Ball bounced and rolled foul. Just a foul ball then.
