Our first outdoor practice of the season is Saturday regardless of temperature. We've been indoors since Mid-October. I don't know who has cabin fever worse, me or the team.

Just held our Quarter Auction last night. Just in donated items, food sales and a 50/50 the team walked away with $1300 profit and some very very sleepy 13 year olds. All in all a good night.
12-13" is average, I would find what is most comfortable for her in that range and stick with that. But also grab a 12" ball at the store and throw it to her in the store a few times and make sure she likes the feel of the glove overall.
From personal experience, the girls on my team who are the most athletic are the girls who play two sports. I have 2- two sport athletes on my team, both girls play soccer. They are very agile and quick to move to the ball.
