Not here.
What rules have a specific provision for stopping play early due to an injury? You run until the umpire stops play. Nothing more, nothing less.

Look it up....it's called the daddy rule...if I think my DD or even my DS is hurt bad enough, I as the dad will run on the field. I've been at games/court that my kids have been 'hurt' but, not so bad that they needed me. Believe me I don't baby my kids..as I wasn't babied. It's a game....I'll stop there before my rant. As a parent do what you want or not I don't care but, I will agree with stopping the play if a kid is injured at anytime. I'm out of this 'tough man thread'.

As a first base coach I might tell the batter to run to first. Not to make sure she is safe, but to consul her. The batter might be a little shaken. You have to let the batter know Its not her fault. When I see my DD batting against a pitcher who isnt wearing a mask I get a little nervous. Ive had some balls hit back at the L screen so fast I wasnt able to get my glove up.

Why are you throwing overhand to your girls? And why would you get nervous?? In a weekend of tournaments you will see upwards around 30,000 pitches, give or take. How often do you actually see a pitcher or if corner get hit??? The likelyhood of a pitcher getting hit is minuscule. I am not detracting anyone from wearing a mask. But when I go to the ballpark the first thing that goes through my mind is not "oh no the pitcher isn't wearing a mask".

On another note, I like matching the ads that are on the posts to the posters. Ian, you are looking for a trashy 40+ year old woman and Rdbass, there is cream for those dark spots on your face. Haha

The crazy thing about those ads, slingnit, is that they are based on what you are searching for. Maybe you have been searching for trashy 40 year old women with dark spots? :D

Anyway, I wasn't suggesting to keep on running. Just I know a few who would. Lol

Sorry you got confused. In baseball they throw overhand. So when Im coaching a baseball team (girls and boys) I throw overhand. Savy? Pro-tip: you can turn the L screen around use the other side for underhand.

Edit: I get nervous because I work with my daughter on driving the outside pitch up the middle. Which she does frequently(love the L screens) Ill throw her one up and in and then Ill try to hit the outside corner. Would it be wrong of me to tell my daughter " if they come high and tight to you and try to knock you off the plate, look for the next pitch to be outer half, drive that pitch right back where it came from. If that pitcher likes chin music let her listen to it."
