What is the best way to place your feet and and knees to allow great hip coil?

I prefer to have the feet set the same way they would orient if the player was walking. i.e. DD2 is slightly pigeon toed - her feet are positioned so her toes are slightly inward. DD1 is neutral in how her feet orient and likewise, I have her oriented "neutral" in the box
The knee should be slightly "inside" the foot\inside the hip....
IMO it is most important to understand the differences between types of hip coil in order to obtain a great hip coil...BM's video provides an excellent explanation:

My fear with moving the foot position too far from the norm is not wanting to put any undo stress on the ACL and MCL...especially if the female player is already valgus or varus.
Never had a hitter like Jeff Bagwell...can't think of any MLB player who was ever as splayed as CC but I could be wrong
