This weekend will wrap up my DD's 10U Fall season tournament. They had a first-round bye, and won their first game of the double-elim tournament last weekend with come-from-behind win against a very good team. We will play twice on Saturday, and (hopefully) once on Sunday. If those 3 games are all wins, we go home with the big hardware.

12U has her first practice with her new team tonight, then first thing tomorrow morning we drive 3.5 hrs to Ames, IA for my 10U's gymnastics meet.

Hopefully the approaching snow won't be an issue.

We were supposed to have an off weekend, but everyone wanted to play so here we go for the 5th consecutive weekend (1 was guest playing). We'll be in Clearwater, FL so at least we are not freezing like everyone else

DD has basketball practice tonight and then a softball showcase team tryout tomorrow morning. Since we got 3-4 inches of snow yesterday/last night and because it is supposed to snow all day today I am thankful it is at an indoor facility. Never been there so I don't know what the HVAC situation is and since it is supposed to be 10 degrees I will be bringing the hand warmers, parka and heavy blanket...

Just kidding - showcase team tryouts postponed due to the 7 inches of snow that we have received with more to come....

Down in Myrtle Beach, SC for a showcase. DD will play 4 games tomorrow, then head up to Elon for a camp on Sunday. Only 2 games on Sunday so head coach told her to go to the camp since it's one of her top-5 schools. Temperature for first game tomorrow is expected to be 32 degrees! Not sure how we're going to play in that.

DD has homecoming tonight, so I am on hair and makeup duty. Why is homecoming so late, you ask? Well, her HS doesn't have football, so for some stupid reason, they do it now. As of right now, no practice this weekend. I am going to dinner with some friends tomorrow, then Sunday is football day! Go Browns!
