yes the CF8 is pretty discounted right now, but lets say I could get a discounted CF9 for only $40 more than a discounted CF8? still go with the 8?

If it's my money, I'm going to save $40, and get the CF8. Both new, both with full warranty, both with equal (or close) performance, why spend more money?...

...unless DD hates the look of the CF8 and loves the look of the CF9, of course.

Hope has different paint. That's the only difference. Closeoutbats.com has the Hope in a 31.

It's hard to say. It will depend on what your DD is looking for in terms of drop, feel, and cosmetics. There really is no bad choice. You're going to get a great bat either way.

Unfortunately, we are sold out of the 31/21 balanced DeMarini CF8. The only real difference between the Hope and the balanced CF8 (or CF9) is the limited edition colorway and the fact that a portion of the proceeds from the Hope are donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
