I've said it before and I'll say it again - parents are the single worst thing about youth sports. Great example they're setting here.

my son wanted to wrestle this year. He's a 3rd grader. It was a new experience for us. What an eye opener. There were things i definitely liked about it. The worst was seeing a parent on the mat yelling at the kid, kid loses, breaks down crying and then parent has to carry them off the mat.

Time to start building gyms with sound proof spectator areas.

I'd love to say this is new.... but as I think back the same parents were there when I was a playing. There just wasn't so much youtube et al to show the world it was happening.

It is the young players parents that cause trouble.

You can tell which ones have older daughters, parents just sit there and try to enjoy the game.
