Thought I would pass this along as quick tip I discovered.
I was prepping gear for hunting/camping with waterproofing spray (I used kiwi HD water repellent, but there are several other brands on Amazon that get good reviews too). The thought occurred to me to try it on DD's catcher bag. She has Boombah Beast and that thing seems to soak up water like a sponge and everything inside gets wet even in light rain. Usually takes at least a day sitting in sun to dry it out. Yesterday a heavy rain storm hit during a scrimmage, and items inside bag stayed pretty dry (think some water got in through zipper and before DD could close it up). Didn't have to deal with drenched gear and gloves though. Will be trying it on her cleats and pullover as well.
