Looking to outfit our team with new bags. The Demarini Voodoo looks pretty good. Any reviews or other options around the $40-50 mark that you all have experience with?

I use a Demaini Voodoo as my coach's backpack. For my needs, it's been great (lots of different sections/pockets). As a player's bag, it may be a little on the small side, unless they player keeps their gear pretty streamlined, or is really good at packing their stuff into small spaces.

No. I have the older one. Maybe the new one is a little bigger. Even so, it will depend on how much crap your DD is hauling. If she keeps it simple with just a helmet, 1 glove, and a visor (or something like that), it will probably work fine. If she has a second glove, a face mask, a first aid kit, a towel (or 2), a few almost-empty bottles of sunscreen, a few almost-empty water/Gatorade bottles, and pair of socks from a previous team, it might be a challenge. If she also needs to get her cleats in there, good luck.

My DD is a catcher. Her bag is big enough to ship an average 10yo. Somehow, she still has trouble getting everything in there, and it takes forever to get it packed.

The Diamond iX3 is a great bag, been using ours for 2 years and the corners are starting to show some wear, all the zippers still work and this bag has been beat on hard. Softball.com has them for $54.95. This is a pretty big bag, one of my DD's coaches is always kidding her saying we could put her in it and zip it up, when she has it on the bottom lines up exactly across the back of her knees. She's never needed more room!
