softball youth all-American games ?

Does anyone out there have any experience or knowledge of "softball youth all-American games" ? we received an email to nominate our daughter to participate in these games at our choice of 4 different locations. I know there is a registration fee to play if she's selected , just wondering if this is just a money raquet? , basically pay to play regardless of talent or is this a legit opportunity for a good experience to play with good competition? they make it sound good , idk .. any information or opinions is greatly appreciated !

We had a kid on last season's 10U team whose mom nominated her and she got invited. She wasn't a bad pitcher but she definitely wasn't an All Star for the state, much less region.

Its very expensive, stay to play, pay to play. Basically almost anyone that wants to go can if they pay the money. No way I would waste money on this gig or Utrip.
