A used Xeno, LXT or CF would work fine. You should be able to find a deal on Ebay or at a used sporting goods reseller. I would not spend a fortune on a bat because your DD will probably outgrow it in a year. Local softball message boards may have a buy/sell tab. Try Craigslist. If you know any players a year or two older than your DD ask them if they have any bats they have outgrown they would like to sell. My DD hit with hand-me-down bats for years.

Thank you!!

LMAO. For those of you that said she needs a LXT or a CF9, bruh....... Shes only 9.

For your dd I wouldnt go with a LXT or a CF9. The Proven (-13) Fastpitch Bat is a perfect fit for your dd. Its not expensive. Its composite. So you can groom your dd into learning how to treat a composite bat. Learning to break in and what it sounds like ETC. Wait until your dd is in 12U before dropping that kind of dough. But if money isnt an issue then drop that dinero and get Xeno or LXT. You just wont see the full potential of that bat until she gets into 12's. Only because most leagues use the RIF balls.

Hard to get a better bang for the buck than the Combat Madison Shipman bat for
$100 or less.

Thank you for the information!! I just went online and there like $250-$350. Unfortunately that is a little out of my price range. Do you recommend anything cheaper but still a good bat?

I may sound strange but take a look at the Demarini Slappers. It would put her in a -10 but they swing light. They are pushed towards slappers and the weight is more towards the handle that makes it swing lighter than most -10's. The barrel is a little longer than standard CF's and the only other difference is the grip is wrapped in the opposite direction.

You can normally find a new one at a pretty reasonable price. We bought the 32/22 my DD is currently using last May for $150 because it was a good price because she loved the 31/21 she was using.

What is your opinion on the best 33/24 (-9) bat on the market. DD currently is swinging an Easton Stealth Flex as it was her teams sponsor but isn't thrilled with its performance. She has owned CF-8s and Rocketech's in the past. Thanks.

I know two girls swinging new Rocketechs and absolutely love them. Seem extremely hot.

I'd have to agree with Warriormike.

Most 9 year old girls will benefit from a lighter bat. Both of my girls used a Demarini Bustos -13 with great success in 10u. You can find a new Bustos on sale for under $100. This is a hybrid bat, Alloy Barrel with composite handle.

Cory, what size is your daughter? I see she's using a 31" bat, honestly I missed her age the first time I read your post. 31" is a pretty long bat for "most" 9 year old girls. I know when my DD was 9, she definitely wasn't using a bat that long. Just curious if she's a big girl for her age.
