The HIGHER GROUND COLLEGE PREP & COLLEGE READY SELECT CAMP goes far beyond any other camp or clinic and is designed for young ladies who are ready to prepare for college softball OR who will be playing in a college softball program this fall. If YOU are 14 years old or older by 12-31-13, have top fastpitch skills, plan to play in college, and show terrific work ethic and attitude, then THIS IS THE CAMP FOR YOU! The camp is specifically designed and staffed to meet the needs of skilled players with very strong commitment levels and a desire to compete at the highest levels of softball. Late Arrival – Early Departure Is Fine
Instructors involved at our camp have included Olympians, college coaches, top high school and amateur team coaches, professional softball players, college All-Americans, Major League Baseball managers and coaches, an NFL kicker, professional dancer, actress, and military officers.
The camp involves an All-Skills format, with almost all sessions being our U Pick style, where YOU learn to make choices that best meet your personal needs. Choose from several topics designed specifically for your present and future situations. Sessions are uniquely constructed for players like you who need customized training to allow you to meet the challenges of the highest levels of the game this year or in the future. We know you are involved in very serious softball, so late arrival or early departure can easily be accommodated.
Join us on June 16-21 in Columbus, Georgia, site of the softball venue of the 1996 OLYMPIC GAMES. Facilities include a 2500 seat stadium surrounded by seven additional championship fields.

GREG RIDDOCH - Former manager of Major League Baseball San Diego Padres; currently Mental Skills Coach for Tampa Bay Rays; extensive international clinic experience, including 2012 Italian National Softball Clinic.
CHENITA ROGERS-EDWARDS - Former USA National Team standout; voted one of top 35 NCAA players of All-Time; 2-time All-American and member of 1986 NCAA Division I World Series Champions at Cal State Fullerton; former assistant coach at Cal State Fullerton.
MEGAN BUNING – Former Pitching Coach at Florida State and University of Mississippi; former Associate Head Coach at Coastal Carolina; former pro pitcher with New England Riptide; NCAA/SEC record holder and All-American at South Carolina; winning pitcher for British National Team in Gold Medal game of 2004 Olympic Test Event in Athens, Greece.
BOBBY SIMPSON - International softball experience in Austria, Canada, Czech Republic, England, Germany, Greece, Holland, Italy, Scotland, Sweden, and U.S. Virgin Islands; Head Coach of British Women's Fastpitch National Team (2001-2004), Gold Medal winner of 2004 Olympic Test Event in Greece.
KAITLYN GENTERT – Former standout pitcher at Regis University (CO); RMAC All- Conference all four years in college; outstanding private instructor for pitching, agility, and plyometrics.
NANCY MARK - 1997 National High School Coach of the Year; Featured instructor at Dutch National Clinic.
APRIL JOWERS – Assistant Coach at Armstrong Atlantic State University (GA), 2012 DII Peach Belt Conference Champions; 2-time NCAA All-American; holds school career batting average and stolen base record and Peach Belt Conference all-time hits record.
BROOKE LE SAGE – Head Coach at Belmont Abbey College (NC); Former assistant coach at Winthrop University (SC), and Mt. San Antonio CC (CA); 4-year DI starting catcher at Long Beach State University (CA); played with Carolina Diamonds in National Pro Fastpitch League in 2012.
