Scoring question

Runner on 2nd. Two outs. Batter hits ground ball to short. Runner does not judge the ball, wait, etc. and decides to go to 3rd. Runner tagged by shortstop to end the inning.

How is this scored for the batter?

The only difference would be if the runner from 2nd left after after the batter reached 1st.

No. She was tagged just before the batter reached first. And it's a shame because the batter is speedy and wouldn't been safe(and the inning continue) has she held.

no worse than the flare to outfield with runner on 1st, and they get forced at 2b. runner safe all day at one, however FC in the book.

you just hope you play enough that the good and bad even out. like 4 line outs vs 4 swinging bunt base hits.
