12.8 Use of Artificial Noisemaking Devices
N
oisemakers such as, but not limited to, (air horns, electronic amplifiers,
homemade shakers....etc.) will not be permitted and such instruments may
be removed from playing and spectator areas. Additionally, music with
lyrics deemed rude, suggestive, offensive or played loudly may be
prohibited by the tournament staff. Music played by teams for their
enjoyment is encouraged as long as it is not, in the opinion of the
tournament staff, being used to disrupt or distract others.

If a team has drum sticks in the dugout and use buckets, water jugs and the dugout fence for percussion instruments, how would you handle it if a parent came to you and made a "complaint"?

This is for the season "State Tournament" and the above quoted rules are listed on the official website.

Just curious how it should be handled.

Umpire should stop it, it shouldn't need to be escalated up the chain.

Umpire might not care so if it bothers you just say something and it should be stopped.

UIC might get involved the following games, if someone complains they might check up on the Team to make sure they are behaving.

All questions should always be directed to your PU. If something is going on at the field next to you that is causing an Issue in your game, PU.

They will, get UIC or someone else involved if needed.

I do my best to try not to bring it to the attention of my team. Years ago, I asked my pitcher daughter about it on our way home. She told me with a surprised look in her face that she didn't even know they were making noise. Last thing I want to do is bring it to my player's attention.
