Ken, unfortunately, it seems as though that kind of parent is becoming more and more the rule versus the exception. It's hard to put together a competitive team without inadvertently getting one or two of these on your team. I truly wish we could give a psychological to parents at tryouts.

We now spend a lot more time talking to the prospect's parents than we do actually looking at the prospect. We may not have THE rock star pitcher but we also don't have all of the drama that comes with her. Life's too short to put up with that bs. I imagine it is unavoidable as the girls get older and the talent condenses further, but at 12U....
