Just remember, the only classes that truly count for GPA according to NCAA eligibility are your core classes. They "throw out" the non-core classes to calculate your actual eligibilty GPA, to "level" the GPA playing field. Too many kids taking easy classes to get an A and boost their GPA.
That's eligibility...but academic money is based on your full gpa and your test scores...I doubt anyone seeking academic money is worried about core eligibility
