Pitching Speeds in WCWS

I had the pleasure of seeing both Dunne and Traina pitch in games. IMO Dunne had great spin and movement and even the umps had trouble keeping up with the movement and she often had strikes called balls because the ump would give up on her pitches before the break.

Traina has good movement but not as good as Dunne, Traina’s movement combined with her great speed makes her effective.

I read where Cat Osterman can throw around 70, but was more effective around 62 -64 because her pitches had more movement at that speed.
