Looking to get my 13 year old a new glove. She has a mizuno that is worn out. Just looking for some advice on what to buy. What would you suggest in brand and style. Her team just got a deal with Louisville to buy at a discount and I would like to take advantage of it if I could. I am open to other brands also. Would like to get her a good quality glove that would last. I know I'll have to spend some $ to get a good glove but now that I know she is all in on playing I feel it would be worth it. She plays center field only so looking for outfielders glove. Thanks for the advice

The Louisville Xeno is a nice glove. If you get a discount from them, go for it. 12.5" or 13" if her hand is big enough to handle a 13.

If you want to spend real money, there are a number of great gloves out there. Mizuno Global Elite, Nokona, Wilson A2000, Vinci, the list goes on.

Any specific model in the Xeno for an outfielder. Sorry I'm not up on all the brands and models. I got online and then I really got confused. On the Nokona glove do you think it would be money well spent as in would last longer than a xeno or some others.

There is a new Louisville Slugger Xeno Pro glove that isn't due out until Nov. 1. It is head & shoulders above the the current Xeno line and closer to par with a Wilson A2000. If you get a deal through LS, ask your rep if you can get on the list for one of the new models in the 12.5" size. Some of our girls have them and they are the real deal.
