OT: Prayers for Queensland Australia

Sorry for the off topic post, but just wanted to ask everyone to pray for Queensland in Australia. Currently 75% of the state is a national disaster zone from flooding and tomorrow is going to be a scary, scary day with all the deluge. My flatmate's mum is flooded in her country town (house on high ground, lots of food and a generator so she should be OK) and I have dozens of friends in the state currently with the Under 17s National Championships being held there! That's in addition to all my friends who live there.

Just lots of prayers please. It's very scary watching the news right now.

By all means I saw some of the devastation on the news and it was mind boggling. Best wishes to the people of Australia and the prayers are on their way.

Just thought I would mention one of the teams that was in the SoCon D2 college had a young lady from Australia on it, she played first and the game we saw her play at Chattanooga, TN her family was there at the game. She played first and was a good player.
