I would say the heel of the front foot.
When hitting off the tee I slowly work the tee deeper in the zone when I give hitting lessons

I dont want them reaching and turn it into a arm swing

In the photo of my daughter below is POC.
We have been working on hitting the ball 3 - 5 inches deeper in the zone verses were she is at in the photo.

SL- What are the reasons for wanting to hit the pitch at a deeper point?

Look at the distance from the chest to the front arm. The farther away the more it is an arm swing

I think it is a stronger hit to hit the ball with the arms in this position at impact.

They are hitting the ball inside the front foot.

I work the tee around the heel of the front foot.

Allot of times when you work the tee deeper the hitter will hit the balldown in the ground or bottom of the net.

There upper body is getting ahead of the lower half.

You need to reverse this to start to get lift on the ball.
Their could be other reasons but this one reason is a main one to look for.
Hips not leading the swing
