obligatory new bat, home run thread

Second game with her new 34/25 Xeno, DD hit a game winning 3 run homer with two outs in her team's final at bat (playing up in 16U as a pickup player). She hit one last fall, but this was the first one i've ever seen, and given that it was a game winner, it was pretty special. Weren't the home team so it wasn't a walk off, but it was still pretty darn cool.

I know, I know. It's a Xeno, so yes i will keep the box.

34/25 Easton FX-1 first 2 Tournaments out HR's each weekend. Coming from a XENO, got to love them. Have been impressed with the Easton so far.

Maybe there is something to this new bat thing. ...

On Sunday, my daughter comes up to me before a c'ship game and says her bat is dead. It had felt ''weird'' all weekend, she says. I ask if she could borrow someone's bat. She said yes, she'd already asked.

Well, in her first at-bat w/ a borrowed xeno (33/23 instead of her 32/22), in her first swing in fact, she hits a 2-run HR to left center, the first 'over-the-fence' HR in her life.

I like to hear about the different bats and I wish it was that easy, your young ladies are hitting the blank out of the ball.
