I guess I should state that I will look and listen to all recommendations whether they are aluminum or composite. I am trying to find a good bat for my 6 yo. She and her 9 yo sister are on the same 8u team. Her sister is using DeMarini CF5 and can rip the balls. Cami, the 6yo can hit the ball good but the cheaper "starter bats" don't allow it to go very far and I have having a hard time finding a quality bat in a lite weight. She would swing a 15.5 or 16 oz max and because she is so small 27" would be the max I would go. Anybody found any great 27/15.5 bats?

I think your OP was to fun and members are figuring out how to response. :)

Redhot has every bat that has ever been produced, at a minimum I am sure he will give a recommedation.

At 6 years she will not be strong enough to get the full benefits of a composite barrel. Get a -10 for her. 27/17. The lighter drops will encourage bad mechanics. My 2 cents.

My DD at 5 and 6 yrs old used a Louisville bat that was 25' and 14 oz, she just turned 7 and is using a 27' Louisville TPS now. Both worked just fine.
