My DD had a big day Monday

Great story and inspiration for others especially young players. I linked to your video on our teams Facebook page and made sure my DD saw it. We have been in the garage every night that we don't have something else going on.

I glad you mentioned that.
When my daughter was 12 I came across a posting on a local forum up here in which a parent talked about his daughter and the success she had.
He said early on his DD was not very good and barely got any playing time. She told her dad she was going to quit, but he encouraged her to continue to play.
He went on to say that a coach really can't make or break a player, but rather, it's really the player who determines their fate.
His daughter became one of the top 10 pitchers in the state and held the strikeout record at one time.
She went to the same high school as my daughter and also was an IB student.
I printed out his post and taped to my daughter's bedroom wall to serve as a road map.
I'll search for it and post it if when I find it.
I told my DD about your post and she is very happy to be an inspiration to others.
