The Flash will be holding tryouts on Monday, July 29 and Tuesday, July 30 at OGSA from 6:00-7:30. Although the team will be classified 14B at the ASA and USSSA level, the Flash will certainly play some 14A and/or 16U tournaments. The team will be coached by Mike Allen, head softball coach at Olathe South High School. His staff will also include Jessica Brooks, former Olathe East and Missouri Southern standout, and several other qualified personnel. The Flash believes in coaching kids with dignity and respect. Practices will take place at either Olathe South High School or OGSA. The team needs energetic girls who love the game of softball. Specifically, the team is looking for a catcher, pitcher, SS, and utility player; however, we are willing to look at all positions. Private tryouts can also be scheduled, and all contact with the Flash team will remain confidential.
