First week with 12 in ball

She was throwing 48-51 in 10u
So far we’ve pitched twice with the 12in ball and she is pretty consistent around 45-46
It has been terribly hot and humid where we live, not ideal pitching conditions
Accuracy seems the same
Not a big girl 4’6 and a bad softball birthday in September
Does this sound like a normal early transition?

Yes, initial 3-5 mph drop in speed...worse on a small kid or a kid with mechanical issues. Won't take long to get it back. She'll be fine.

It does. Good speed for that age.
