I don't know if you looked at my DD's swing on the practical hitting or not - however I posted that DD is 10 and hits the ball hard, she just hits mostly grounders and was looking to help her swing a little. We talked about the suggestions and tried to harness some of that load and forward motion.
Well yesterday at her tourney she was up to bat in extra innings, bases loaded and her team down 1. Her team was home team. She struggled against this other teams pitcher all game, she took strike one at the knees. Then it happened, the next pitch was right at belt height in the middle of the plate and DD crushed it. That ball just flew and landed well over the center field fence. She hit a walk off grand slam. Her very first home run ever was a grand slam.
Thanks for all the suggestions. Her swing is by no means perfect but it was perfect enough yesterday and it made her feel fantastic to be a hero. Her smile was a million miles wide and 1000 watts.
