DD had a pretty good weekend pitching, she has a very sore ankle on her resistance side. Due to her sore angle she has been used sparingly so far this season. They were playing a team which has been averaging 9 runs a game for the season. She did not start pitching, but came in cold in the first inning with 0 outs and bases empty and her team behind 10 - 0. She walked the first three batters and gave up 2 runs, but shut them out the rest of the way, (5 inning game due to run rule) she was disappointed in her performance, she advised only the rise and change were working for her in the game.
The next game she pitched a shutout and hit a ball off the fence while hitting behind the runner to drive in a run and won 0 - 1, she advised her pitching was amazing and she was very excited. She almost had a home run her other at bat she hit a line drive that was just rising and the center fielder managed to reach up and catch it before it went out.
Only sad wife and I were sick and were not able make the trip.
Very proud of DD doing that well while being hurt.
