Young kids do freeze up on the field, and it has nothing to do with poor coaching. I'm sure a psychologist can tell you what it's called. I hope she grows out of it. She needs time on the field to do it.

I remember in one game were the couch told one of his pitcher to cover left field, she approach me and ask me were was left field. This was a 14u play`er.
