CF9 or CF Zen?? Help

Hey everyone,
I am looking at getting my daughter the CF9 2017 or the CF Zen 2019. I am getting her the 30/19. Just wondering if anyone could steer me into the correct direction?

I would recommend the CF Zen

My honest opinion (actually, DD's opinion). She thought the Zen hit about the same as her CF9, but not as hot as the CF8. At the time we bought the Zen (CF9 cracked) we also tried the Power Carbon( 30/-10). Liked both bats but was ready to move up in size and we went with a 31/-10 Ghost.

Go with the Zen. If nothing else, it has better resale value since it is the newer model of the two so you can recoup more of your money when she moves up in size. I know a couple of girls that did major damage with the Zen.

Thanks for the reply, the secondary market has the zen selling much cheaper. I am wondering if that’s just because there is much more supply?

Whichever you can find in the best condition for the money if going used. May be able to find a zen with warranty for around half msrp. Factoring in which colorway your DD prefers. Performance will be very similar. I wouldn't pay an arm and leg for a minty CF9.

DD has both the 9 and the Zen In her bag. Honestly I couldn't tell any difference between the two watching her hit. I dont think there Is any difference In the two other than the paint and the connection point. Id buy whichever you can get for a better price.

I just sold a 30/20 power carbon and my daughter liked it better than the demarini's. It had a lot more pop. A lot more. She had the gray/blue demarini (zen?)
