She will be joined by former University of Arizona teammate, Taryne Mowatt and former Petaluma High School teammate, Sadie Dolcini.

Lunch is followed by team instruction, games and contests. Daily prizes and awards will be presented before the 3 p.m. dismissal. Banister played for the Akron Racers of National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) this past season after a standout career at Arizona in which she was a part of two national championship teams while playing multiple infield positions and serving as a designated player. As a senior she belted a career-best 16 home runs, including two in NCAA Tournament regional play, and 10 doubles to go along with a .526 slugging percentage. She holds school records for home runs, batting average and RBI’s at her alma mater, Petaluma High School.

Mowatt recently signed with the Akron Racers of National Pro Fastpitch (NPF). She was named the 2007 WCWS Most Outstanding Player after leading Arizona to its second consecutive national championship. Mowatt enjoyed one of the most remarkable weeks of pitching in the history of the sport during that WCWS, recording eight complete games (6-2) and pitching 60 innings while throwing 1,035 pitches over a seven-day span. She captured a pair of ESPY Awards that year and set single-season Arizona records for innings pitched (370), strikeouts (522) and victories (42). She went 42-12, starting 53 of 65 games, with a 1.46 ERA. She concluded her career with 1,267 strikeouts, second in Arizona history and among the all-time NCAA top 20.

Dolcini was a two-time All-PCSC selection as a catcher and designated player for St. Mary’s College of California. In her senior year, she posted a team-leading .310 batting average in conference play and totaled 21 hits, five runs, eight RBI, including four doubles, one triple and two homeruns for the season. As a Petaluma High School teammate of Sam Banister, Dolcini led her team to two NCS titles and two SCL titles, earned all-league honors in the SCL her sophomore, junior and senior seasons and earned all-empire accolades in her senior year.
