I just bought a new easton stealth scn6b on ebay and got it today,(still in wrapper)and i have allways checked my daugthers bats by holding the barrel and tapping the handle on home plate or a hard surface,and the new on just makes a thud and i can feel know vibration in my hand,the one she just started using about 2 weeks ago has a ting to it and you can feel a vibration in your hand.i was told by an old timer if it thuds and you can feel no vibration its a dead bat,is there any truth to this,i have looked at every web site i could find and could not get an answer.is there anybody out there that can prove this?
