A short story about Sandy Koufax, one of the greatest pitchers ever and master of the curve ball. He was invited by a friend to attend her son's bar mitzvah. Pretty soon, he was surrounded by a herd of young pitchers as he demonstrated how to throw a curve ball.
" 'No, one of the younsters protested, that's not how you do it, my coach showed me a different way.' Koufax gently corrected the dissenter but still the lad persisted. Finally the Hall of Famer lost his patience and growled, 'Look, kid, this is how you throw a goddamn curve ball!'"
