i found this toy on the internet and presume its in some stores.
E-Z Bat Baseball toy - 2010 Dr. Toy Award Winner!

Looks like the same idea as one of those $130 hitting sticks with a ball loaded on it! Now the video is pretty funny and th eyoungster needs some work...lol... but this look slike a good tool to keep the hands inside, snap the wrists and extend to get the "ball " to go straight up the middle and only $15.99
