So happy DD just did it in her a tournament last week...
Several nights before, we watched a baseball game, and the announcer was talking about a 3-pitch inning. He said it happened in MLB about once a year. Yet, it's not easy to do. We explained to DD what that meant, and said we will probably never see it in youth softball...
That weekend, she pitched to a team where the players could hit, but it's early in the season, so many girls were probably not used to girl-pitch yet. It's 10U afterall. Toward the end of the game, DD pitched 3 pitches, and they were either weak ground ball or pop fly where every one of them was an easy catch. When the inning ended, it dawned on me that it was a 3-pitch inning.
