I find that hard to believe as well...did you weigh them both or by feel? The yellow Ghost runs a little heavier than the blue.
I would seriously consider the QPro. I bought a 34/25 for myself. My DD swings a 34/26 Ghost. We tried to hit 10 balls each off of a tee from HP over a 215' fence with each bat. I hit 5 with my QPro while DD hit 4. I hit 3 over with her Ghost and she hit 4. However, our mis-hits were on average, 10-15' further with the QPro. That said, I haven't hit Mizuno's latest offerings yet but I should be able to provide feedback on those shortly...Hopefully....
ETA: DD has had her Ghost from first year 18U (17) through Fall Ball of College Ball Sophomore year. I have yet to hear of a Ghost losing "their pop" and certainly, DD's hasn't yet, from what her College Coach is telling us.
In hand are:
33/23 Titanium
33/23 and 32/22 Power Carbon
33/23 and 32/22 Carbon 2
33/23 and 32/22 carbon 1
now to find some local fp folks
Yupper...been telling Marucci 100 times what their problem is and they refuse to listen. The rep in this area is so damn lazy, he wont even do a baseball demo
here for us for a baseball league's indoor facilities. Heck, baseball bats they are atleast good at. Then wonder why sales sucks. He did it last year
and we sold about 40 baseball bats for them.
Been telling them about their fp bats for a while, falls on deaf ears. Whatever, I have no problem not getting any and neither does potential customers
considering their lack of sales. It is an ok bat with good durability...that's it. Not gonna beat anything out there. But yet, its map price is right with
all the big boys and so is cost.
I have been disappointed with them to be honest
