It's the exact same barrel as the Mako and that's a good thing. Huge sweet spot but takes a little more break in time than some of the other bats but a few good practices should do it. We don't own the Torq but have tried it and it doesn't spin like crazy like some think. It moves very little on a good swing... on an inside pitch, it moves more. I think it was Just Bat Reviews that said after extensive testing, they decided that the handle gave a slight advantage, but it was too steep of a price to pay unless you could find a great deal.
That's the plan of it...good swings it shouldnt spin much. I have had people just regrip the bat and
no more spinning.
Once you get a few swings on them, they are just as hot as any bat, and durability is unmatched.
But we know people want instant gratification...even though they wanna use it for BP anyway...haha
