To start, I find it hard to believe a batter-runner hit a ball then completed a run of more than 120' by the time the ball descended to earth.
You're not the only one. A reasonably fast runner could reach 2B in six seconds. A ball staying in the air for that long would have to be hit over 140 feet high.
