Hey all,

I got an email yesterday from Bill's wife saying he has been hospitalized again. Thankfully he was released after 24 hour observation but apparently his EKG showed some abnormalities that worried the doctors. I'm sure prayers would be appreciated. And another hospital stay means more bills coming so I hope those reading this will contribute whatever you can to the go fund me page which has been set up to help. Personally, I've contributed a couple different times and hopes that he'll be well enough to do his commentary on the World Series games!!!! Please dig deep if you can, the softball world needs Bill.

Hello all, this is Jamie (Bill's wife). First of all, thank you to CuriousGeorge for both the donation(s) and posting this. You beat me to it. Crystal, I checked his Paypal and he did get your donation, thank you and I'm sorry he didn't thank you himself. He's barely been on the computer in days. I was going to post an update for everyone this week sometime but then we had we had the hospital stuff so it slipped my mind until today. Bill is home and on some morphine to control the pain in his back, and, while he'll kill me for saying this: if any of you thought he was funny before, you should see him on morphine!! I should post a video like the Youtube ones of kids coming out of anesthesia. I should set up a Pay-per-view of today: Bill, on morphine, watching WCWS, yelling at Michelle Smith's commentary. I had to promise not to call 911 if the EKG starts making noise while he watches the game today. He thinks the commentary is going to give him a heart attack or stroke or both.

Anyway, thanks to all of you for the prayers and to those of you who've donated. I got a lot of inquires via email wondering if this is one of those internet scams, like winning the West African Lottery. LOL. Anyway, I will keep you informed with any news or I'm sure Bill will at eventually. At somepoint, he's going to have to come on here and vent about ESPN so, you have that to look forward to!!

Jamie, I feel I can speak for everyone on the forum when I say, "post the video". In the immortal words of some tall skinny pitching coach, "'let her rip, like a fart in church". Be sure to film him watching "catfish" while on morphine too. Tell Bill we hope he gets better soon.

Hello Everyone, It's actually me this time not Jamie. I just wanted to say thanks for the support I got from everyone who contributed. As you all know, with med bills, anything contributed is like spitting in the ocean. They just keep coming. But, I'm finally getting answers. I have some heart issues and they're looking for more but, at least some things are coming clearer.

Thanks all

Bill

Good to hear Bill. Good friend of mine just bought into an indoor facility just south of SFO. So let me know when you are up to traveling to Northern California!
