My DD got her butt chewed by her PC for not putting in enough practice time. PC says it's all about how you practice.

Quality... AND quantity if they're going to see any real gains.
Nothing worse than a 2nd year 12u who's been clocked in practice at 52-53mph, and then lobs 41-42mph on game day! That's a clear example of a kid who went out and played the way she's been practicing at home! PC's can't be there ALL the time. Bucket parents have to step up their game and hold dd's accountable for crappy mechanics at home.

I think that is unfair post James.

How do I know it is crappie mechanicS? I go to every game and in a good enough place where DD has a PC.

As a parent you need to be involved but just be a spectator on the Team's time, game or practice, or be crucified here.

Not sure if your sarcasm font is on or not (if so, needs to be in red)
Parents should be at the lessons with the PC. They need to be taking notes on what dd needs to work on. Good PC's will establish a practice plan for the parents that'll include key mechanical points to look for. Allowing dd to just throw isn't good enough. Pay attention to the details
