I think this is a pretty good video explaining head movement. Basically explains that a batter can have head movement but it should stop when you get to the toe tap/ heel plant portion of the swing.

You can certainly find other videos of very good MLB players with very little head movement and then there are hitters that do more like in the video I linked that are also very successful.
