Easton wont tell you, they will just replace. Not worth the time. To be honest, bats are made to last a year anymore which is why you get 1 year return. Days of bats
lasting years and years have been over. People want hot as fire, customers gotta give something up.

If it was a paint crack, then no biggie and not even an issue with the bat and could have kept going. Only saying because this happens quite often and people
mistake them for real cracks

The warranty return went flawless. Mailed the old Ghost out on Friday Dec. 1 and the new replacement bat return ended up on our doorstep yesterday (Dec. 11). I couldn't find a warranty tracker or anything like that so I don't know if the crack was an actual issue, but it doesn't matter. Kudos to Easton.

I had not one worry, their return dept is top notch.

This is the 2011 Synergy. The last one made. DD had several in the past. 1B, 8B and SRV4B. All were great bats. This one has the USSSA thumbprint stamp, just in case we ever need a USSSA bat. It is also a tank like all other one piece EASTONS (had a 31"previously) Just trying to keep the swings off the Ghost, which is odd for an Easton guy to say, lol!

I just bought a ghost bat. We are excited about. My daughter has always had Demarini. She has one that we were planning to use as a practice bat. Is there a big difference in the feel and weight? (Might be an eye roll question, I’m new here!)

My DD has just switched from a Demarini CF8 to a Ghost. She says it feels different, but can't give me any specifics on what or how it's different. She likes it, though. Two of her teammates also used her Ghost in last weekend's games. At the end of the day, the parents of both girls asked me to get bats for their girls, too. Today, I received a box from Core. There will be happy girls at practice this weekend. :)

DD went to Demarini after Easton pulled their best bats from the USA approved list. She never loved them like her old Easton’s. I would not recommend using a Demarini as a back up to the Ghost. Demarinis have a lot of flex in the handle where Eastons have always had a stiff handle which DD loves. There aren’t two manufacturers who’s bats swing more differently.

The crack of the bat on the Ghost turns heads the way the Xeno did in 2011! Nothing else sounds like it.

Agreed. My DD and I were looking through game video from last weekend and comparing bat sounds (my DD hates the LS sound - LOL). The Ghost is every bit as loud as any of the LS bats, but it's a slightly deeper tone. The Demarinis are all more of a "thud" than a "crack".

Very true. If you ask your DD about the flex in the handle, I bet she will tell you that is the difference between the Easton and Demarini. DD’s 1B’s has a “thud” too although the ball went 20ft further than any Demarini she had, lol!
