Is that a recent Synergy? My daughter uses a really old Synergy for machine ball hitting; maybe a 2008 or 2009 model. It feels surprisingly good when hitting. It's so ugly that it's cool.

This is the 2011 Synergy. The last one made. DD had several in the past. 1B, 8B and SRV4B. All were great bats. This one has the USSSA thumbprint stamp, just in case we ever need a USSSA bat. It is also a tank like all other one piece EASTONS (had a 31"previously) Just trying to keep the swings off the Ghost, which is odd for an Easton guy to say, lol!

I see players at local sports facility with Ghosts. To save swings, they used older CF's and Xeno's. I was asking them if they notice any difference and neither player had any issues.

DD's does. I just ordered a nicer one ($70) that will pass inspection in case she busts her Ghost. DD really likes the Synergy. Eastons are known to vary quite a bit in weight, so we will see how this one feels next week. I like them because they are virtually indestructible and really open up around 1000 swings. :)

Both my daughter's 33/23 Eastons (Ghost and old Synergy) are very close in weight and balance point. Both Eastons are slightly more end-weighted than her 2016 Xeno (by about 3/8") and 2015 LXT (maybe 1/4"). She says she can't really tell much difference swinging with the LXT but the Xeno feels slightly lighter to swing. The LXT is the smoothest on contact (least vibration), Ghost and Xeno similar (Ghost her favorite with a slightly more end-weighted feel), and the old Synergy has the most vibration; but it's not bad compared to other one piece bats I've swung from the same era. Got an old composite Mizuno that feels like hitting rocks and literally hurts on contact.

BTW - just found out that DD's team bought a few Ghosts for team use. DD said she really liked the pop it has. They aren't allowed to use live - "have to break it in" she says.

there isn't much break in time needed at all. Its not like the older bats.

If those bats were passed around for one BP session, they are gtg already.
