UPDATE-----

Ok, I have a question. It seems like my DDs bat has lost all its pop. I can't really explain it but it's like the bat went dead. At first I just thought it was her after a few BP sessions but today I brought her older sisters 14' Xeno for comparison. After a couple buckets with the Quatro, I had her swing the Xeno. Her Quatro is 31/21 and the Xeno is 32/22. But she smoked the ball with the Xeno. I mean solid hard hits that even DWs immediately noticed as well and asked me about it afterwards. Anyone have any ideas?

Has anyone had this happen to a Quatro DD owns? Rubber cuff at handle/barrel connection area came loose on DDs bat. Would this be a legitimate warranty claim? If I sent bat in would Rawlings just glue it back and send the bat back? If they just glue am I better off gluing it myself?

I had this happen to a Worth 2Legit. I called and they told me that all they would do is glue it and send back. Said I could save the shipping by doing it myself.

Now, that was a Worth, but I am assuming the response would be similar.

Again, very good possibility she has outgrown the 31/21. If the bat is too small for someone, it wont perform as
well.

She just got it this spring so I'm not sure she has outgrown it. She's 10 yrs old, 4'11"and about 92lbs so I don tell think it's outgrown yet. At least that's what all the bat fitting charts say lol. I guess I can call Rawlings and see what they say but I figured I would ask and see if anyone else experienced this with the Quatro

Well, considering she is hitting a 32/22 better..and that 22oz Xeno weighs closer to 23oz. That's why I
ventured that direction. Not saying it cant be a dead bat, but most dead bat claims don't turn out to be
dead bats. BUT, Rawlings will warranty it more than likely if you just want to return it to them

Never thought about it that tbh. This was at the end of a 2 hour practice and I know she was tired. But she swung the bat decently and the ball really did have more pop. So I just figured it was the bat. Considering her size and weight, I would never think of a 32/22 especially a Xeno for her. I just had her swing it for comparison. I plan on having her hit with it some more off of a pitching machine set at a more competitive speed as opposed to me trying to sling it in there. If she can hit well with it then I will need to consider another option.

Ok, so I took DD out for some BP again and she still seemed to make better contact with the Xeno. But bat speed seemed a little slower to me though. Contact was good and ball seemed to be hotter compared to the Quatro. So what did was just bounce the ball off both bats and what I found was it seemed like the Xeno sweet spot was bigger than the Quatro. Of course this is not scientific by any means but unless the Quatro was hit on the center, there was more vibration and little pop. On the Xeno, it seemed like the sweet spot extended along the barrel more and the ball popped better. So this would explain (at least to me and the little experience I have with these bats) that there is nothing wrong with the Quatro (like Core said) and I should look into a bat that would have a bigger sweet spot. I'm liking what I have heard about the Ghost. Can anyone comment on the sweet spot?

Maybe try to replace the Quatro...not the first time its been done. Just tell them it seems dead or "off".

You paid for the warranty, use it :)

Then you will have a better idea. But if you want a ghost, I can help out as well...haha
