Drove down to SJ to watch what would be Boo's last HS game. Bishop E had a pretty good pitcher who kept us off the bases. Boo's swing looked good but she kept getting under them. Her hitting coach made some adjustments yesterday and while the swing looked good it wasn't good enough. First O'fer this HS season, 0-3 on the day but finished the year at .468, .431 over the 4 years as the varsity starting catcher. Very proud of this kid.
It was sort of sad driving home. I told her how much it meant to me to be a part of all this and how her work ethic was something I really admired in her. Her last TB tourney games will be at Team NJ on June 24th and we then we drop her off at USNA on the 29th. It's been a fantastic ride, and while this segment as been great, I'm looking forward to the next one.
