There seems to be a lot of gray area on this. The roll of the stride leg is not as defined as that of the drive leg. Not only what the specific needed movements of the stride leg but also the timing is not discussed as much as needed.
Couple of things here, the Demarini is at or under advertised weight and the LXT is over weight. Also the swing weight (balance or lack of) is quite a bit more on the LXT. We have 30/20 in CF8, LXT, and '11 Easton Stealth and the difference between each is a LOT.
For my DD, it means she let her upper body(weight) go with her front leg, which puts her in an awkward position with the ball stuck behind her at release.
There is a lot of difference between a bend and a lean. Lean gets you shin angle which directs the force exerted forward. Bend can be good or bad especially in younger girls. Some bend instead of lean, which not only doesn't give a positive shin angle but creates a weight forward issue they...
Yes Dusty, yes has taken lessons from a Tincher instructor. You are also correct on the early turn out of the pivot foot, we have struggled with it for a while. I like the step and go idea, we will try it. IR still has a ways to go as well. Everything she does looks unnatural and force dj :D...
She is 12 and has been a slow but steady project.

I bought this bat from KneeHighSocks, he had bought from Core 6/16/16 I have receipt. Bat is in good condition as my 5'2 82 lb DD has never harmed a bat in her life. Does have small chip in paint on handle. Plenty of pop, DD swings a Demarini better due to lighter weight and even balance. $175...
I drive my 12yo DD 4 hours each way to a Tincher certified instructor here in Texas. I am very happy with results. There are a lot of pitching instructors in East Texas but none that I have found were in her class.
Yes it is in my opinion. I've had my subscription over a year and feel that it is worth it. The commentary is minimal but they are getting better it seems.
Is it an active movement of that leg pulling itself forward or should it's movement be a byproduct of the drive itself? I know some instructors teach that pulling the rear leg forward to be a conscious effort.
I also have lost all respect for the Gators. I really liked them til recently but the same issues you mention make me want to see them get beat. It's a shame too, I really like Delanie Gourley but not enough to offset the other issues.
