Please swing the bats!!!!
12u 'B'. Went 1-2 this weekend. Kind of sort of competed in two losses. But we had 9 called third strikes over three games. If hitting is contagious, not swinging must be too. Young Team, Learning How to Win
12u B tourney ball. 0-11. Had the lead in 8 of those games. Always one meltdown defensive inning per game. Always working with team on "trust". Trust themselves, their throws, their teammates. One...Rough...Season...
Just finished up the roughest season that I've ever coached. 3-29 in 12U 'C'. Yes, we had the youngest and most inexperienced team in our league. But I certainly didn't expect this. Sandbag Pool Play to play Lower Bracket on Sunday???
I think I came across something new here last weekend. I'm used to 12u 'B' talented teams registering as C teams so they can play easy competition and get another plastic trophy. Do you feel like a better Coach now big man?
I was coaching 12U C this weekend in fall ball. The entire league is designed around developing players. No tourneys, no trophies, and double header games against the same team. And second half of schedule is suppsed to be against "like" talented opponents. I guess my 3-11 team is the same...- ConorMacleod
