Thanks for the replies! All helpful stuff. Backed off on the changes as she started her fall season. It's a quick one in NEPA, so she'll be back at it early October.
Took away the up through it queue to try and straighten out her posture. Seeing the stills and recording myself swinging, I realized she over exaggerating the negative tilt.
Well, I'll tell you what I personally feel when I swing. From the launch position, the first thing I "feel" is my...
She was really struggling with anything on the outside half because she was letting the front shoulder fly open. I don't think its as extreme in live swings. I'll get her in the cage tonight and get some video.
I don't understand what you mean by the bolded portion of your reply. Do you mind...
Honestly, the only thing she’s trying to adjust is getting her right hip through and not let her hands go down by her belly button on a belt high pitch. She’s now completely disconnected and pushy with her hands.
She's REALLY struggling to change. This is where we got today. Her quote " You can tell I'm being held against my will".

Cool video for sure, but you've got about 2-3 minutes of the coaches time, at best, and that's only if they like what they see in the first 20 seconds. Edit it down to the pitch and the hit and get rid of the ones with poor video quality. Maybe put one of her running the bases at the end. I'd...
I've done one better. Added a plate and a batters box line for her to reference her position and stride. Still working on some of the other suggestions that we've gotten and will post another video in a few days.
Yes, her grip is door knock knuckles aligned. I tried it myself with your grip, and although I felt like I had a little less barrel whip, it definitely made it easier to think palm up palm down through contact. The back foot is a constant battle. We’ll keep it priority. More duct tape on...
I’m terrified to do this for fear of going from too tight, to too loose and casting. I’m guessing it needs to be a really strong focus on hitting the ball at 7:00 for a righty to make sure she stays inside the pitch? 12:00 being pitcher and 6:00 being catcher for clarity.
Load focus is on keeping hands back through heel plant and being pulled by the back hip… problem there is the back hip starts, but then stalls. We are working on it. As the post is titled, my biggest concern is where her hands go at launch. If there are remedies that tie together, share for...
Any recommendations for a queue/drill to free up that back elbow without creating a drag situation? Still working on the wrist roll. It’s improved from where it was.
Anyone able to offer advice on that hand path? Hope that video posts. Not sure how this works. Been a long time since I've been on here.
