What makes a great tournament?

I don't have much experience attending tournaments, but i'm helping a league in trying to grow. The life's blood is obviously well attended tournaments. So.....simple question.....what are the four or five main things that make tournament a good experience? From a players perspective as well...

What is the typical costs of tournament team??

What is the typical cost that teams charge as team fees that cover stuff such as equipment, etc? $100?? 200?? We are trying to find a team for my 8U daughter that is somewhere between rec ball and a competitive travel team. Maybe two or three tournaments in the fall and rec + tournaments...

Where to being building a well rounded player?

So, i'm fairly new to softball. And forgive me, i've not figured out some of the lingo (don't know what DD or AC means). I have a 7 year old daughter who played last spring and summer, and this spring. She has been to a few camps, and her skill level is about as good as any girl playing 7U...

Jackie Traina stance?

I'm relatively new to softball....well, i'm new. Why does Traina get in what looks like a stance to bunt only to move into a swinging stance when the pitcher is moving into her motion? Just curious.
